Assignments

 40% of your marks for this course will be given for your presentation.  You should therefore make sure that it is clear, interesting, and represents your own work.  Please let me know if you need a projector or other equipment. 

Make sure that you provide copies of the poems you are going to interpret.

The final exam will represent 60% of the grade: students will be expected to demonstrate that they have read a range of contemporary poets and are able to discuss their work in its social and literary contexts.
